Duty Airside officers

Airside Duty Officers are trained to handle an entire spectrum of tasks on the airside – all with the goal of ensuring safety for both people and aircraft.

Air Traffic Radio Operators-ATRO

ATROs are responsible for the operation of the Air Traffic Ground Radio within the airspace of Kavala Amygdaleon “Lydia” Aerodrome.

Rescue and Fire Fighting Services RFFS

The RFFS is responsible for the firefighting and rescue services in accordance with ICAO Annex14 (Aerodromes).

Maintenance Officers

Maintenance personnel ensures that all the features of the aerodrome are operational and maintained in accordance with the Aerodrome Maintenance Procedures Manual.
